Why don't I get the Google holiday logos on my Windows XP that I have
google set as my home page. I have other computers at home on my LAN
Win 98 SE and a nother Windows XP both them get the holiday logos come
up. I just get the same old Google logo on my computer. Why?

I think the reason you dont see the holiday logos for google on your
machine is because IE is loading the google page from cache.

To change this, and have the google page fetched each time you load it
do the following in Internet Explorer
-Start Internet Explorer
-Click on Tools
-Click on Internet Options
-On the General tab, in the Temporary Internet Files area, click on Settings
-Under "Check for new versions of stored pages" select the radio
button next to "Every visit to the page" or "Every time you start
Internet Explorer"
-Click Ok
-Click Ok on Internet Options window.

the above sequence of steps should fix your issue.

I am not a google researcher and so I can not post this to you as an
answer, but this is all you need to do.

I check and I all ready have the radio button filled in "-Under "Check
for new versions of stored pages" select the radio button next to
"Every visit to the page"" Can you think of why else it would be?

This may not be it, but are you using the same Google page as your
home page on all the computers (i.e. www.google.com)?  For instance,
if you use www.google.co.uk instead, maybe the holiday logos don't
come up?  I'm not sure, I would have to wait for the next holiday to
know, maybe one of the British users can say if they normally get the
holiday logos also.

As a user of the swiss Google page (www.google.ch) I can comfirm that
holiday logos only appear on www.google.com and not on www.google.ch.
I assume that this also applies for www.google.co.uk and other Google pages.

Google.ca usually gets the holiday logos. We even got a google.ca
specific one on July 1, Canada Day
