Question ID: 369794
I have a refrigerator with an ice maker. As most of you probably
know, ice makers have a "screw" inside. My "screw" has rust on parts
of it. I was wondering if making ice in this icemaker is toxic to
humans (i.e. me) I haven't died yet (obviously), but I am worried.

I would also like to know how to clean the icemaker of the rust if IT
IS TOXIC TO ME.

Rust is just iron oxide, which is not toxic.
