What is the name of the file? Does it have a tilde in it? Or is the
complete file name just "~"?

Greetings CaptDave:

I, too, have this mysterious icon with the tilde on my desktop. I
think it's spyware but I'm not sure I have a spyware program but it
doesn't seem to keep this icon away). I've tried to find the
properties and file name with no luck. I wind up dragging it to the
trash each time.

Best regards and looking forward to the answer,
journalist-ga

It's gone. When I deleted W32 Beagle, the deletion process killed it
too. Thanks, I'm all set now.
Dave
