I would like to know what percentage of a Federal income tax dollar is actually spent on services versus administration. This is similar to how a charitable dollar is viewed administration versus going directly to the charitable cause. |

At least half of all money is ultimately spent on adminisration with rare exceptions, both governmement and corporate. More if several large scale subcontractors and suppliers are envolved. There are lots of grey areas such as insurance, lawyers, consultants, bribes, incentives, advertising, perks, taxes employee benefits, stock options etc IMHO only wages and a small portion of the raw material and energy purchaced are not administrative. To give a useful answer, a complex consideration of the many grey areas must be analyzed. Neil |
