The New York Post shows Dick Gephardt as Kerry's VP Pick,
but every other news outlet contravenes this, saying it's John
Edwards.
 Is it possible that this particular printing of the New York Post
could become valuable as a collector's item some day?

Dear pcventures-ga;

Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to answer your interesting question.

John Kerry did indeed choose John Edwards just this morning to be his
running mate and any news outlet that is reporting otherwise is
incorrect.

The New York Post?s copy of ?Kerry Choice? (or any other publication
or headline making the erroneous statement), in its original hardcopy
form (assuming you can find one), could very well fetch a good price
eventually. Here is what one rendition of the newspaper is said to
look like:

This prediction is based on the 1948 faux paux newspaper printed by
the Chicago Tribune, ?Dewey Beats Truman?, when of course Truman was
clearly the victor. HISTORY BUFF.COM?s HISTORIC NEWSPAPER PRICE GUIDE
lists the Tribune today at $500-$800.
