Unfortunatelly its not Patrick - I just tried it again.

Just tried Buster too and its not him.  

If it helps at all, there was a message which I listened to.  It was
of a guy who sounded like he was in his fifties.  The accent was of a
fairly well spoken english person. It was too short to get anything
else from it...

The guy in the photo looks older than 'in his fifties' maybe it was a
recording made some time ago.

The folks you are dealing with can be very tricky.

But... I find it odd that all the proposed solutions so far have been

Well, the questioner hasn't posted here since July 9 just a couple of
hours before I made my "guess" of Wilfred Hyde-White.  I wonder if
that turned out to be the correct answer and he collected his prize
