One of my PC can?t mount the local share on a DAVE equipped Mac server

I have a PC on my network that can?t get to any sub folder on our
workgroup server. I can get to files in the root, but not the
subfolders. It is in the same workgroup (called WORKGROUP). We do
not have a domain or any PC servers on this LAN.

All the other PCs (and even the Macs) can access it no problem. They
use guest access.

Our server is a G4 running OS9 and a product called DAVE (by Thursday
software) to enable SMB sharing on this mac so PCs can access it. I
upgraded from Dave 2.5 to Dave 5.0.1 (the latest) but this didn?t
solve my prob.

I tried deleting cookies, internet temp files, and restarting.

DAVE has 3 security options: local-level, share-level or user-level.
We are running DAVE in Share-level. We specified the share, assign
NO password, and it works great on all the other PC.

The other PC mount the same by going to \\192.168.1.10. They then see
a window with a folder/share called ?fatdrive? and can double click on
it to access it. They can also map it by using
//192.168.1.10/fatdrive.

Here is the message that appears the problem PC tried to click on the
fatdrive folder do it.

The path ?\\192.168.1.10\fatdrive\INV~C4PJ\Produ~JM? does not exist or
is not a directory

This PC has Windows XP. it is a Toshiba Portege 3500. We don?t use
it as a tablet, just as a laptop, so I removed all the tablet software
I could find and we leave it in laptop mode.

Thanx in advnce
