While this can be confusing, a little digging clears things up.
By searching on the HP website, for 'video driver', for
your model computer, 'HP Pavilion 8760c desktop PC (US)',
the following page, which displays a picture of the motherboard
used in that model, shows up in the results:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&docname=bph06062&product=59299&dlc=en&lang=en
If you look at the image on that page, you can make out
the VIA Chipset to be VT82C694X. Also note that the CPU
is a Socket 370. This corresponds to the CPU listed for
that computer on this page at Hewlett Packard:
"Intel Pentium (R) III 733 MHz processor"
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?product=59299&lang=en&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=bph05813#N10014
You can see the VT82C694X chipset, as well, in the photo
of the chip on the page for the VIA Apollo Pro133A, so
this is your system.
http://www.via.com.tw/en/apollo/p133a.jsp
If you follow the links for drivers from this page, you
are taken to the ViaArena website:
http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=2
On that page is a link for 'VIA Hyperion drivers For all
VIA chipsets using Microsoft? Windows Operating Systems'
http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=300
At the bottom of that page is a link for the driver portal:
'Microsoft Windows 32 bit operating systems including Win95,
Win98, Win98SE, WinME, Win2K, WinXP, Win Server 2003':
http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=403
In the middle of that page is a listing for 'Retro chipset
drivers', which lists the following chipsets for which this
driver is appropriate:
"MVP#, Apollo Pro## series, KT1##, KN1##, KM1##, KT2##, KN2##,
KM2##, P4X2##, P4X3##, P4M2##"
Since yours is the Apollo Pro133A, this is the driver set
for you:
VIA 4in1 version 4.43
http://downloads.viaarena.com/drivers/4in1/VIA_4in1_443v.zip
ViaArena also provides an informational page, entitled
'What Drivers do I need?', which provides detailed instructions
on how to identify the drivers needed for your system. It also
notes:
"If you find that you have a VIA chipset on your mainboard,
download and install VIA Hyperion 4in1 drivers. ALL VIA
chipsets use either 4in1 drivers, Hyperion 4in1 drivers or
HyperionPro drivers (depending on the operating system &
chipset)."

Thank you very much for your research. However, the 4 in 1 Driver
pack you provided me does not contain any video drivers. It does have
a driver for an AGP adaptor of sorts, in the event that you were using
an AGP card instead of the onboard card, but it does not have the
driver for the on-board graphics adaptor. I tried loading it and it
did not solve the graphics problem. You provided me with the
following site:
http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=4267
The site lists the Service Pack you provided me seperate from the
graphics drivers themselves, indicating, at least to me, that the
graphics drivers are not part of the 4 in 1 package. However, when I
follow the link for graphics drivers, I cannot find my chipset on the
list!
I appreciate the work you have done so far, and look foward to finding
the drivers once and for all.

rnizlek...
I just downloaded the 4in1 driver package and, while it does
contain the VIA AGP VxD Graphics Driver, that is meant to be
used with the primary video driver, which is not included.
I followed the path you took, and share your frustration at
not finding your chipset listed.
Unless the following strategy works, I'm afraid I'm at a
loss to provide any further information, based on my
research to this point.
If you look closely at the picture of your motherboard, on
this page:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&docname=bph06062&product=59299&dlc=en&lang=en
...you'll see, a little left of center, where the long,
vertical rectangle says "Accelerated Graphics Port", a
small square which represents the graphics chip. If you
look closely, it says "NVIDIA", and "Graphics Processor
Chip". Some of the numbers look like "TNT2", in which
case, this may be the same chip that is used on the
NVIDIA TNT2 Pro 16 MB 4XAGP Video Card, shown here:
http://www.dealsdepot.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/920231/vpcsid/0/SFV/14930/order/desc/order_by/title
Your homework assignment is to open up your PC and look
at the spot where that video chip is shown to be located,
and precisely copy everything written on the chip, and
report back here. If it is an NVIDIA TNT2 chip, we may be
able to locate a driver for it from the NVIDIA website.
Aha. The search for NVIDIA drivers begins here:
http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp
The latest TNT2 driver for Windows 98 is here:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/win9x_56.64
The archived drivers for Windows 98 are here:
