I downloaded Accuchef 3.2 on a trial basis, after purchasing the CD program I have been unable to install from the disk, I get error message "cannot initialize." I have unstalled the trial program and reinstalled it, but I get the same message, I also got another cd copy from the company and it still does not install. I tried run, install from control panel, SETUP.EXE, PCREC32C.EXE and ACCUINST.EXE and PCREC16C.EXE and nothing has worked. What do I need to do to install this program from the CD? |

did you try copying the contents of the CD to your desktop and then trying to install? |

try copying the whole conytent of the cd in harddrive folder, then run the setup.exe..if this doen't work then that bundle of CD is errenous..i guess |

Seems you aught to download a new version. It is currently in version 6.31 http://www.accuchef.com/support.htm If you have XP you might want to right-click on the install program and choose compatibility. Michel |

It seems as you don't have VB runtime files installed on your system. Try downloading the latest VB runtime setup file from microsoft download site at: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?releaseid=28337&area=top&ordinal=23 and then try running the application again.
