Question ID: 37050
I downloaded Accuchef 3.2 on a trial basis, after purchasing the CD
program I have been unable to install from the disk, I get error
message "cannot initialize." I have unstalled the trial program and
reinstalled it, but I get the same message, I also got another cd copy
from the company and it still does not install. I tried run, install
from control panel, SETUP.EXE, PCREC32C.EXE and ACCUINST.EXE and
PCREC16C.EXE and nothing has worked. What do I need to do to install
this program from the CD?

did you try copying the contents of the CD to your desktop and then
trying to install?

Seems you aught to download a new version. It is currently in version
6.31

If you have XP you might want to right-click on the install program
and choose compatibility.

It seems as you don't have VB runtime files installed on your system.
Try downloading the latest VB runtime setup file from microsoft
download site at:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?releaseid=28337&area=top&ordinal=23

and then try running the application again. It must work after that.
