Wow, thanks for the fun question!

There are oodles of new movies that I haven't seen yet, so I have a
wide field to choose from.

One that I am very eager to see is "Spider-Man 2." I am a huge fan of
both Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire. And I've heard that Bruce Campbell,
one of my favorite actors of all time, has a cameo role.

I feel as if I "discovered" Sam Raimi more than two decades ago. Like
many horror film buffs, I was stunned and delighted by "The Evil
Dead," and I watched over the years as Raimi honed his skills and
finally broke through into the big-budget mainstream without losing
his oddball wit and sweeping visual imagination.

Given my affection for the director and his other works, going to see
"Spider-Man 2" will be like visiting an old friend and dandling his
new baby on my knee. And I do love to dandle.

Regarding foodstuffs, I'll have a dilly of a snack. A dilly pickle,
that is. Movie theaters in my area still have humongous jars full of
large, juicy, stinky dill pickles for sale. I love the big ol' things,
and they are probably the most healthful snack at the concession stand
(not to mention the least expensive). To compound the sourness, I like
to sip on a diet lemonade. There's a pucker born every minute. :-D

See ya at the movies!

If only everything in life was this simple. I am on my way out the
door to see Spiderman 2. Thank you for yet another wonderful detailed
perfect answer.

As promised a nice little tip for the bonus info. Please take this and
go to see Spiderman and get some pickles and diet lemonade on me.

Pink -- be sure to get the current issue of "Entertainment Weekly"
with Michael Moore on the cover. BIG article on your fave, Bruce
Campbell.

Thanks, Cryptica! I'm a subscriber, so I got this issue last week. The
presence of Bruce Campbell sorta counterbalances the Michael Moore
stuff, making it quite an enjoyable issue, on the whole. I just wish
the full-page photo of Bruce didn't have him buried in leaves and pine
cones.

gosh...Bruce Campbell...didn't he do Brisco Co. Jr? i used to love that show!!

Indeed, Bruce Campbell was Brisco.

I loved that show, too. I would have loved it even if someone other
than Bruce had played the lead role. The playful tweaking of "western"
traditions made "The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr" a delight. And
the supporting cast was superb. Any show that features John Astin gets
my attention.

Here's a very nice site for Brisco fans:

A follow-up on Pink's Night at the Movies:

Spider-Man 2 was most excellent. I knew that Sam Raimi wouldn't let me
down. This is one of those rare sequels that is better than the
original. Bring on Spider-Man 3!

Instead of the dill pickle snack, I opted for ice cream. To heck with
calories, I'm livin' in style. :-D

Thanks again, mother911. Your kind generosity is surpassed only by
your keen intellect.

I was totally amazed with the entire series so far. I hope Tobey
Maguire will become our next Christopher Reeves superhero repeating
success.

I personally went the nite I posted the question and I enjoyed some
Cherry Coke and some twizzlers. The wife of course loves the fact that
right outside our favorite theater is a Starbucks so she had a giant
freaky flavored coffee.

The next interesting move connections for us are Green Lantern
(although I love Jack Black, I don't see how he will pull this off)
and the new Batman Darkside....which I understand will be mind
bogglingly good. So good infact that I invented bogglingly, a new
adverb.

Maybe one day the four of us will get to see a movie together.
