Here's a collaborative effort. What follows is a review of the story - Clarke, Arthur C. and Mike McQuay. Richter 10. (M, B) Lewis Crane is the only member of his family who survived the Los Angeles earthquake of 1994. He is now a seismologist and is sure a Richter 10 quake is coming. He must get people to believe him or America and the world will never be the same. this was located at - http://www.mppl.lib.in.us/yaSCIFI.htm There's this one called "The Rift" that I remember. But it's not a collaborative effort. http://www.scifi.com/sfw/issue122/books.html |

Would it by chance be "The New Madrid Run" by Michael Reisig? The story is about an earquake along the New Madrid fault in Northeast Arkansas/Southeast Missouri that annhilates a large portion of the United States and turns the entire Mississippi basin into the Gulf of Mexico. Let me know if this it's the one. If not, it's still an excellent book and I highly recommend it to those who are interested in this type of fiction.
