I'm looking for information on how to buy warrants. Specifically, I get the impression that warrants for gold and silver stocks are traded in Canada (on the Toronto exchange) but I'm lacking the details. I'll consider this question answered when I get a link to a site that tells me exactly where I can buy warrants for gold and silver mining shares. Thanks. |

Not all warrent are traded on exchanges. If you want to buy a warrent that is traded on an exchange it will usally be traded under the symbol SYM.wt (for the stock SYM). If this is the case you can buy it directy through your broker. Other warrents are not traded on the exchanges, the only way to buy these is by participating in a private placement. |

Thanks for the pointer. I'd still love to know exactly what exchange(s) do trade warrants and who lists prices. It's odd how difficult it is to find information about them. Haven't had any luck with the .wt suffix on the system my brokerage provides. |
