Hello seeker365!

The answser in general terms is no! You do not need any special
license, to my knowledge, to become an affiliate of programmes offered
by thousands of organisations, companies and websites on the net.
Once you ARE an Affiliate of programmes, it is especially helpful if
you have your own website/s where you can publish and promote your
affiliate programmes. Many Affilite programmes provide very good
content for you to include their products, services and opportunities
in your pages. Many even provide you with your own personal website
or page enabling you to still be an Affiliate and build a recurring
long term income on the net, without the need to have your own
website.

Now... having said all that, there are some individual Affiliate
Programmes who DO require you to obtain THEIR license before you can
operate their affiliate programme. The all important thing when
looking at affiliate programmes to join is to very carefully read
their Terms and Conditions choosing the affiliate programmes you wish
to promote, very carefully indeed.

If you are new to the net and looking to create your own online
business, I would advise you to initially join reputable and trusted
Affiliate Trade Programmes such as Trade Doubler and / or Commission
Junction where you have a vast array of programmes to promote, great
resources and affiliate marketing learning techniques and tips!

Here are some great affiliate marketing community forums that I would
strongly advise you read. They offer some great advice, tips and
comments on promoting Affiliate Programmes, techniques, tools and
resources, all free to join:

WebmasterWorld - Advertising Sales and Affiliate Programs Forum

money from it through Affiliate programmes, this is a must to include
in your favourite bookmarks!

A Best Web? offers a free webmaster / affiliate marketing forum.
Issues discussed are merchant rating, fraud, building site traffic and

actually in some cases you must have approval from the parent conpany
before placing their ads on your site. A good source to find companies
to affiliate for is commission junction.
