Please kindly excuse my ignorance, but what's a CV Template?

What I mean is a template file for a "curriculum vitae" - some people
might refer to it as a resume (career, personal details, education,
etc.) The document that comes with a cover letter when you apply for a
job ;-)

In word 2003 you can download them with the word software from
microsoft. Otherwise I don't know, sorry.

Thanks - I know that. But the problem is that THESE specific templates
are used by everyone ;-) So an HR person will inevitably say "Ah,
look, there's another Microsoft user..." Maybe I should change my
question slightly and also allow commercial templates, as long as they
don't cost an arm and a leg...

Note : word documents do not need to have a .doc extension , you can
read in htm(l) documents and save them as .doc files
