I'm looking for the exact recipe used to prepare the chips and salsa
served at Carlos O Kelly's.

I'm interested in homemade salsa making as a hobby and theirs is my
favorite salsa, so I'd like to use the recipe as a starting point for
making my own salsas.

I doubt the info is available on the web, but maybe someone has an
inside connection or just a friend who works there. :)

One blogger claims that the Carlos O'Kelly Chips and Salsa are "really" Tostitos.

"Damn, let me tell you about these chips. They gave us this bowl of
chips and salsa, which were actually Tostidos brand restaraunt-style
chips warmed up in an oven and Tostidos brand salsa in a little bowl.
It was really good."

A recipe board lists a clone as:

1 can, #10, stewed tomatoes, drained well
1 Large white onion, chopped
1 Cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 fresh jalapeno pepper, chopped (use seeds for hot)
1 Teaspoon salt (to taste)
pepper to taste
.
Place all ingredients together. Using a mixer with a blade, puree to
desired consistency. Cover & chill for a few hours for best flavor.

Hopefully, somebody can come up with the exact recipe for you. :-)

nice research.

i'll have to try out that clone recipe and see if it's pretty close.

as far as the guy with the tostito's stuff, he either went to a really
weird carlos or he doesn't know what he's talking about. :) I have my
hunch as to which it is. ;)

As a former employee I know the receipe for the salsa and the chili
con. The chips are not Tostidos and the salsa is not Tostidos. The
salsa is made fresh everyday from real ingredients. However, I can
not and will not reveal the receipe due to it being a trade secret.
Hense, they could seek me out and sue me. Not a chance of that
happening.
