There are a variety of conspiracy theories floating about the Kennedy assasination. There are two theories connected to Oswald and the Bay of Pigs. One such has to do with stories of Oswald attending anti-Castor rallies. The story goes that Castro opponents in the U.S were upset with Kennedy's handling of the Bay of Pigs and wanted him assinated. Oswald obliged. The other story is that Oswald was upset with Kennedy's anti-Castro and Bay of Pigs policy (anti-communist) stance and wanted him assasinated. Here's a document explaining the two theories in detail. http://cuban-exile.com/doc_026-050/doc0026.htm Horace Twiford, was an official of the Texas Socialist Labor Party. He had some correspondence with Oswald in the months prior to the assasination and therefore was investigated as a possible conspirator. Because of his leftist leanings, it was easy to assume that Twiford was pro-Castro. In fact, Oswald called Twiford's wife prior to his (Oswald's) leaving for Mexico to get a visa to visit Cuba. The purpose of the call was to see if he could set up a meeting. However, there is no evidence from the Warren Report that Twiford and Oswald met prior to Oswald's trip. Here's the Warren Report on the matter. http://history-matters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wcvols/wh25/html/WC_Vol25_0165a.htm and another document http://www.acorn.net/jfkplace/03/JA/DR/.dr02.html Additonal Information http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/odio3.htm Search Strategies: Oswald, Horace Twiford Oswald, Bay of Pigs Twiford, Cuba |
