and fine jewelry annually and what proportion of the market does this
represent?

These following statistics from the US government show that the 55-64
age group spends the highest amount on jewelry at $172 per capita. The
45 to 54 age group spends $143.

U.S. Jewelry expenditure by age per capita.

55-64                 $172
45 - 54               $143
35-44                 $101
25-34                 $101
Under 25               $70

The bar chart on page 13 presents an index of jewelry sales by age group. 

Baby boomers (45 -to 54 and 55 - 65 age groups) are spending more
money on jewelry than the other age groups.
