I'm looking for two different songs. One is from the 70's or 80's and
contains the repeated lyric "i've got the key, i've got the key." The
other song is a hair-band type rock song, and at the end the singer
keeps repeating "only love can break your heart" over and over. Any
help would be greatly appreciated!

hey rainbow-- thanks for the russ ballard, that's the one... the other
song (with "only love can break your heart" said over and over at the
end--) I wasn't looking for the Neil Young song-- although the song I
heard may have been a cover of that-- it's an upbeat, 80's type rock
song (I thought it was Winger or some other lesser-known Bon Jovi-type
band) and the song slows down at the very end and he says the OLCBYH
lyric. I know that's ridiculously vague (I didn't get the lyrics from
the rest of the song) but that's life. thanks for any help you can
give me... sd

If I Recall Correctly, a female singer did "Only love can break your heart".

Maybe you're thinking of the Saint Etienne cover of "Only Love Can
Break Your Heart"?
