I'm seeking an LCD (or eqivalent low-power display) to embed in a
prototype wearable device driven by a PIC microcontroller and 3V psu.
Maximum display size is 20mm by 10mm by 5mm thick, and smaller is very
desirable, and thinner highly desirable. A bitmap at least 60x10
pixels would be ideal, but an 10 char alpha-numeric, or even a surplus
digital watch display that was easy to interface to a PIC would do as
long as it didn't require a bunch of extra volume consuming junk to
drive it.
My budget < $1000 for 20-100 units.
I've found things like
http://www.sciplus.com/recommend.cfm?recommendid=8 for size, but note
wrong voltage, and no interface spec!
