Are you thinking children in public school or university or both. Since there are perhaps a hundred more or less standardized tests and over 200 countries, five dollars may not be enough. Neil |

What are the grade school standardized tests given in the UK, Canada, France Mexico and Italy? Any information would be helpful on how kids are taught, and what they are expected to know. Other countries could include New Zealand and Australia |

Here is a quick note, and not meant to be an answer: The Eleven Plus is an examination given to students aged 11 in some parts of the United Kingdom to select whether they go to a grammar school or to a secondary modern. In most parts of the country this test has been abolished in favour of the comprehensive school system; however it still remains in places. |

The 11+ Exam in 2003/4 have shown its value. This year almost all the top 500 performing schools in the UK's pre-University exams ("A" levels - Advanced Level examinations) taken by 18 year olds, were achieved by students who sat 11+ examinations for entrance to schools at the age of 11; the most popular exam is created by Nfer Nelson and more details of the system can be found on new site http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk - basically there are four types of exams - Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. |
