I am looking to get the results of a search I did about 6 months ago. I can t replicate it. It is driving me crazy. I found a used book on how to do wood inlay or Marquetry on the amazon website. I can't remember the name of the book or the bookstore. It is a VERY specfic title on how to do round or circular inlay, Imagine a flat peice of wood with an intricate wood inlay depicting say a dog. then imagine a round ball with a 3-d inlay into the face of the ball but flush with the surface. Very challenging to do and I recall there wasone title and pictur on the cover depicting this type of inlay. Standard searches of google, amazon and bookstores in and around danbury CT have turned up nothing! Please help me find this book. |

Dear woodyrpr-ga, Could it be one of the books depicted on http://www.artmarquetry.com/index2.html ? I'm not an official Google Researcher. Hope that helps. Xituculumucumba Google search strategy: marquetry create "inlay picture" ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=marquetry+%22inlay+picture%22+create |

Try this site: www.bibliophile.net It's a rare book finder. I typed "Inlay" in the title category, and 11 books came up... maybe yours is among them. Good luck, richardolen2-ga |
