Hi. I want to built a large database containing interesting facts
about everything (one liner style facts, like "nobody knows where
Mozart is burried" or  "33% of americans flush their toilet while
still sitting on it"). I want to have the fact's source next to it so
I'll be sure that it's verified.

- of course I'd preffer free sites.
- the Examples i gave above are funny kind facts because it will help
me get people's attention, but search for other kinds as long as it's
somehow interesting.

You might be able to sample some information from www.snopes.com,
which has a HUGE database. Now, they go into depth on subjects, but
you can make your one liners from the true or false of the
title/question. Of course, you might wish to ask permission because of
copyright reasons...
