Hello:
I was wondering if there were places on the internet offering
either free or low cost one-on-one advice on internet marketing.
Specifically, I am looking for someone who can help me with designing
ad copy, building and maintaining an opt-in list, search engine
placement optimization and effective, affordable advertising and how
to do joint-ventures. I have tried the SBA to answer my questions in
the past, but most are not familiar with how to build an online
business, and aren't even familiar with the terms "affiliate" or
"affiliate program". Please note that I have found similar places on
the web that offer similar services listed above, but most offer
3-month or 9-month coaching, and that is not what I'm looking for (at
least for now); just someone who can help a "newbie" with questions.
Also, most are quite expensive, and I am trying to keep a tight budget
for for now, until my business develops and starts making money (I'm
still trying to decide how to build my website!). I don't know of
anyone on the web who will do it, either for either free or for a
small fee. I hope they wouldn't mind if I pay them after my site makes
money, or give them a percentage of my sales if their advice can help
me get my business going.
Also, I know I mentioned internet marketing alot, but if they can also
help me with offline marketing and how to develop and grow my business
affordably offline, that would be an additional plus.

Hello dho1115. I am not a Google answers expert, but I may be able to
provide some useful assistance as I see your question is about to
expire.

In my experience with the Internet, I have found that a significant
source of information for almost any topic tends to be forums. Large
forums have quite a diverse membership base, from experts and
professionals to those just entering the world of that peticular
topic. This diversity results in an environment in which the power of
human networking is truly exploited. A great deal of information can
be divulged by these forums to a user within a very short period of
time. Not only can you find members eager to counsel with you one on
one reguarding your questions, but many members already possess the
knowledge you seek and either will provide you directly with more
resources or have already answered questions similar to your own
searchable in the forums database.

If you are already familiar with forums, then this information is
nothing new. However, recently entering the world of ecommerce and
Internet marketing myself, I have come across a specific forum which I
have found very useful for answering my questions. You will find it
at http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/default.asp. It is a very large
community as far as forums go, and they also have an article database
to learn from.

I hope I have been of some assistance to your endeavors, good luck!

Hello dho1115,

I really appreciate you for the fact that you have expressed your
predicament and desire to excel in your online business. All your
questions are pretty standard and across the board, but on this basis
alone you can be sure there are millions of people out there who also
wants to know as much as you do, and all there is to know are some
very crucial fundamental principles...It's true there are just as many
Internet marketers with their own proprietary, personal or subjective
'professional advice' or opinions, and we have to respect them for
their contributions in this industry. If you have ever heard some
folks say, "No, you can't do Internet Marketing to SELL Internet
Marketing," ignore them. There is still so much room for improvement
in this business called Internet Marketing...same with Network
Marketing...same with self-development...same with Real Estate etc.

Before I mumble away, I would like you to know I can answer your
questions to the best I can, at least with a 50% pass mark :) I am
currently setting up a site with FOCUSED content on providing a
results-driven process to setting simple sales sites and larger theme
sites. It's going to be pretty academic, technical and FRE*E. Such
fundmentals deserve to be released for free because I and my partner
desire to see much much more people create an online business for
themselves and maybe we can become partners. That's REAL income from
future win-win situations instead of having to sell at people. You
don't want to be sold at, would you? :)

The idea is this: Once you have the wisdom to understand the
fundamentals, you can set yourself up in a CONSISTENT ACTIONNABLE
PATTERN to setting up sales sites everytime you have a product. So you
must not only know what you need to know, understand your knowledge
and EXECUTE it! Otherwise if you allow yourself to get stuck in a
state of learning, you will never get a breakthrough from DOING
ANYTHING.

I hope I don't sound long-winded but I don't know at which stage are
you where IM is concerned. You can reply me at
nelsontan@internetmasterycenter.com for future communications or
immediate reply. This is Nelson signing off, and as my note of
encouragement: dho115, YOU ARE A MASTER!
