Hi,
We're creating sector specific investment funds, to internally manage
and better market them to investors, so we were looking for good
examples of how they're supposed to be structured and reported on and
possibly measured and presented.

Are you asking about the requirements for such a fund in the US, or in
some other country?

Hi,
I'm not concerned with the legal issues specific to countries. What I
would like to know more about is the internal management and
structuring.
This would cover management fees, commissions and success bonuses if
there are any. I need an overall idea as this isn't a familiar area
and from there I would be able to narrow down on what I need.
Thank you.

Thanks for the update. I'm still not completely sure what you need,
though, probably because I'm not sure what your baseline is...how
familiar are you already with sector-specific funds?
For instance, here's a page from Fidelity's Construction/Housing sector fund:
http://personal.fidelity.com/products/funds/mfl_frame.shtml?316390616
On the left hand side of the page is a list of a whole host of
information products about the fund, including:
Snapshot
Overview/Fund Manager
Expenses & Fees
Rankings/Ratings
Performance
Volatility Measures
Holdings
Fund Facts & Features
Prices & Distributions
Quote
Prospectus & Reports
Shareholder Update
Quarterly Review
Glossary
In particular, the "Prospectus & Reports" link provides a great deal
of highly detailed information about how the fund is set up, managed,
relevant fees, etc.
Is this what you're looking for? Or is this all stuff you know already?
Let me know.

Hello Pafalafa,
I was out of town for a few days, sorry about that. :-)
Allow me to clarify.
We would like to function internally where we create portfolios of
businesses to invest in and have Funds managed for the investors to
inject their funds into.
I'm not quite sure how to articulate my needs, so I'd appreciate the
help in nailing it down. :-)
