Question ID: 372955
I am a UK citizen residing in London. I am interested in purchasing a
Porsche Cayenne but I have been shocked to find that none of the
Dealers I have approached are willing to offer any kind of discount
from the list price. In fact, the only discount I have received is
full tank of petrol and floor mats.

I find this quite odd as it is a known fact that every other car maker
are flexible in one way or the other and are open to negotiations. Can
anyone provide me with a contact/Dealer that will be willing to offer
a discount or advice me on other avenues that will eable me pay less
than the list price?

Thanks,
Colin

Often times luxury car dealers will be unwilling to offer deals or
discounts because they know that they can sell it to someone else for
the list price. Going in close to the end of the month or quarter is
usually a better bet if they are trying to reach some numbers, but
again in a luxury car dealership they sell fewer cars and are less
willing to work out those deals.

Actually in some cases the Cayenne is selling above MSRP. Having said
that, which model Cayenne are you looking at? Are you willing to go
outside London to get a deal? I MAY be able to do somthing for you.

The Model I am after is just the basic CAYENNE (NOT CayenneS or
Cayenne Turbo)With a few extra features like Tiptronic transmission,
metalic black, PCM etc. In answer to your question I am not
restricting myself to London and I as I am willing to go as far a
Ireland or Germany etc as long as it has UK Specs. Can you still
help?

Thanks,
Colin
