All I have found easily so far is a press release by Trend Micro
showing its market share lead in 2001 I assume, shown in the form of a
pie chart. Is this an acceptable part of your requirements for an
answer? The other kinds of statistics don't seem to be that easy to
find online.

I'm really looking for a bit more detail than that if possible.
Basically, of 100 users, who uses an antivirus, which ones, how has
usage grown etc. Goal is to propose an antivirus companion product and
we would like to integrate with the leading software developers by
market share etc.
