I need an Excel formula that will take a column of numbers and letters
and remove the last four digits (of numbers and letters). Each cell in
the column looks similiar to this: 101094M059 and I just want: 101094

Hi there,

The formula you need is =LEFT(A1, LEN(A1) - 4), with A1 being the cell
in question and the number 4 being the number of digits removed.
