I am interested in finding out the number of lawyers per capita by
state rated from the most to the least.

The American Bar Association has publised a listing of the number of
attorneys per state at:

http://www.abanet.org/marketresearch/2004nbroflawyersbystate.pdf

You can use this and cross reference the population for each state to
determine the number of lawyers per capita for each state.  You will
need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view this file which can be downloaded at
http://www.adobe.com.

information was exactly what I needed to finish researching my

by cross-referencing the states' populations.  I really do appreciate
your help, I was googling my brains out trying to find this
