I am so desperate to find this out... I asked the question about 5
days ago. Here it is again... valued higher, and with more info?!
Good luck!

I saw a music video that I really liked, but more specifically, I
liked the song. It's fairly new I think, I saw the video when I was
in England in March 2004 (though I've heard the song here in the U.S.
on the radio). I saw the video on MTV2, and the video that followed
it directly after was Queens of the Stone Age "No One Knows". It was
Thursday, March 23rd at 10:00 AMish GMT. I was in Greenwhich,
England.

In the video, the lead singer stands on top of a round table with
world leaders/generals sitting around the table. I could have sword
one of the leaders looked like Hitler, but I may be imagining that.
As the song
progresses, the generals start to stand up and start dancing. Then
they all start walking in sync around the table, very slowly, with
lights flashing. At the end, I the floor gives way and the generals
all fall through the floor.

I think the chorus contained the words "not going to let you
_________(something)". The music is rock or alternative.

What is the band, and what is the name of the song?

"let me __SOMETHING___, not going to let you __SOMETHING___"

    or maybe

"let me ______________, I won't let you ________"

the word might not be live, or breathe, i think it is though

actually, I think the entire chorus would look like:

 let me __________
not going to let you ________
 ________ me
 I won't let you _________

Hello jdneb-ga,

The song you are looking for is ?Time is Running Out? by the English
rock band ?Muse?. It appears on their album ?Absolution?.

The lyrics include the lines:

?you will be
the death of me
yeah, you will be
the death of me

bury it
I won't let you bury it
I won't let you smother it
I won't let you murder it

our time is running out
and our time is running out
you can't push it underground
we can't stop it screaming out?

The video includes the band playing on top of a large round table with
people in military uniforms sitting around it. The military people
get up and start dancing as you described.

You can hear the song and see the video at their website:
http://www.muse.mu

The song ?Time is Running Out? plays when the webpage loads on the US
version. It didn?t play when I went to the UK version of the page.
Maybe that?s because I?m not in the UK. I don?t know.

To see the video, click on ?media? in the spinning menu, then click on
?Time is Running Out? in the list.

You can also view it at MTV.com.

?The English rock trio Muse consists of guitarist/vocalist Matthew
Bellamy, bassist Chris Wolstenhome and drummer Dominic Howard. Bored
by the sleepy life their hometown of Teignmouth, Devon provided, the
three friends began playing music together. They started the first
incarnation of their band when they were all 13, changing the name of
the group from Gothic Plague to Fixed Penalty to Rocket Baby Dolls as
time passed. By 1997 the band settled on the name Muse and released
their self-titled debut EP on Dangerous Records, followed by the
Muscle Museum EP in 1998.?
