Hai,
I am going to set up a network for a company tomorrow. The requirement
is to get the connection from the service provider and the equipment
they have is a 2621 cisco router, visual network DSU, US Robotics
Modem 36.6 K.I am unable to understand how to connnect these to the
demarc together. I feel that there is no necessity for the DSU but I
don't understand how to connect them all. Please help me.

This set-up is for a dialup connection for the office. I don't know if
I need a CSU/DSU and the modem both because this particular router has
a inbuilt CSU/DSU.

to simplyfy things

for starters a CSU/DSU is the 'modem' for a T1 line so if you are
connecting a T1 for this company you DO need one

the order is as follows

Dmarc->CSU/DSU->router->Switch or hub , the modem is for either a
callback system or a fall back system or maybe for maintenance

see here for a simple setup

added to this if the router has a build in csu/dsu you of course do
not need an extra one
