Hi there,

The O.C. has most certainly not been cancelled! The reason why it's
not on TV right now is that the show is in hiatus over the summer
until the premiere of the second season on November 4th. The second
season is already in production and in fact, FOX is aiming to capture
viewers that used to watch Friends on NBC by moving The O.C. into the
8pm Thursday timeslot that Friends used to dominate. The O.C. is
proving to be so popluar that the novelization of the first season
will be released next month and the a DVD of the first season is on
the way as well. So don't worry, The O.C. will be back!

I've included links to various The O.C. fan sites so you can keep up
to date on what's happening with the show.
