I know there is an evaulation process to recognize foreign degrees for people pursuing careers in Brazil, but what is the liklihood and chance of 4-year degrees from US or Canada being recognized as legitimate as a valid 4 year degree at the University of Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo Brazil? |

Hi casonnie, This is not your answer but rather a free comment from me. An interesting website about work in Brazil can be found here (http://www.goinglobal.com/countries/brazil/brazil_work.asp), as linked to by the US State Department. It has limited information on several pertinent topics about finding a job in Brazil but wants you to pay $15 to buy an e-book with complete information. Obviously that choice is yours. Some additional Brazil-related resources can be found here (http://www.latpro.com/USER/resources/country/brazil.php?1090447205). My two cents: with the spread of globalization to developing countries like Brazil, your knowledge of English would be a great asset to any Brazillian business. Of course, you will want to know some Portuguese, but I don't see why any Brazillian firm would hold your bachelor's degree (from an accredited US university, and even better, a well-recognized one) as any less legitimate than from Sao Paolo. |
