Dear curiousep-ga,
I have been unable to find the full articles online for free. As you
have probably discovered, The National Business Review web site has
edited extracts of the articles, but not the list itself. For
instance, using the Google cache (navigation is easier) you will see
an article titled: Rich List: 29 new entrants. On the bottom of the
right-hand column you will see links to other articles ? but not the
actual lists.

http://216.239.59.104/search?q=cache:06zuBsTtMCYJ:www.nbr.co.nz/home/column_article.asp%3Fid%3D9503%26cid%3D4%26cname%3DBusiness%2BToday+National+Business+Review+rich+list&hl=en

The site indicates that copies of articles in the print edition can be
supplied through news databases.

I can provide you with the details of an two online news database
where you can purchase the articles.

The first database supplies them at US$2.50 each. From what I can see,
there are at least 3 relevant articles (each over 3000 words) that are
'the list', but there may be more. These do not appear on the NBR web
site.

The second is at NZ$5 + GST each article. I have been unable to view
the index to see how the articles are laid out as it requires
registration.

As this will involve additional expense, I have no objection if you
wished to reduce the price of this question before I post the answer.

Hi answerfinder,

Thanks for the reply. I do not have a problem paying for the research,
if it is only $2.5 per article. As long I can just pay for the
articles required on a one-off basis with my credit card (i.e. I do
not have to set up an account etc. as I would with Factiva) and I can
download them thats fine. No need to lower the price for the answer!

Thanks!

Dear curiousep-ga,

Thank you for your clarification. In that case, I recommend LexisNexis
by credit card. As you?re paying by credit card, you obviously have
to supply your details and they will ask for a password should you
wish to re-visit, but there is no other charge, no subscription.

Go to LexisNexis? Executive by Credit Card
http://web.lexis.com/LNE/login_en.asp?referer_domain=LNE001

I?m sure you will find your way around, but if not.

Click> Start
Select> News sources per document
Click> Continue

You will be taken to the search page.
In the Search terms box type the following in this format:

"national business review" AND "rich list"

On the date drop down box select> 90 days
Click> Search
You should see 47 documents listed.

Articles 12 to 25 are the articles in are interested in. 17, 22 and 25
appear to be the lists. You will note some of the other articles
appear on their web site (referred to in my clarification). To save an
unnecessary purchase, a quick word count of the web articles will
confirm this before you decide to purchase them.

Tick the documents you require. Select ?Purchase the documents? and
you will be taken to the credit card payment section. Once that is
completed the articles can either downloaded in a file or viewed on
screen and ?cut & pasted?.

I hope this answers your question. If it does not, or you have
problems with the site, then please ask for clarification of this
research before rating the answer. I shall respond to the
clarification request as soon as I receive it.
Thank you
