I recommend either: - making a special order through Bay Head Cheese Shop (on Bridge St.) in Bay Head, NJ Tel. (732) 892-7585, e-mail bhcheeseshop@aol.com - phone around to different cheese shops in New York. Any decent shop (with good variety of international cheeses) should carry Brinza. See http://newyork.zami.com/Dairy_Products_Store/8-Z for a list of stores & phone numbers. - Even Romanians will typically use a good Bulgarian brinza. Try "Black Sea Delicatessen" at 39-39 47th Ave., Sunnyside, Queens. - contacting Sahadi Importing (718-624-4550) who distribute brinza in NYC. |
