I?m using the Panasonic Varicam: (HJ AJ-HDC27F), and it does 60 frames a second (60p) but I need a deck that can convert it to Standard Serial Digital Interface (or any equivalent data rate via standard output) while keeping the 60 frames a second. This cam does 720 lines of resolution? it would be alright for it to keep that resolution or to down convert to 640; i'm mostly concerned with keeping the 60 frames a second. I?m looking for this deck to convert HD video tape for transfer to either digibeta, a Media100 video editing system, or regular Beta. I may need to half-speed the transfer, and that wouldn?t be a problem, but our current HD deck (that we use to transfer to digibeta) impolitely throws out half the frames. Any decks or configurations you could recommend? |
