In the song 'Love Shack' by the B52s there?s a point where one of the
singers yells out, "Tin roof? rusted." Immediately after she says
"rusted" there is a female voice yelling out something faintly in the
background.

What exactly is that female yelling?

I haven't been able to find what the person is saying and I don't have
a copy of Love Shack myself, but if you have a copy of the song, I can
tell you where you can get an excellent program (free download) that I
have used in the past to hear lyrics more clearly that will
significantly slow the lyrics down for you so you can understand them
(if this would work as an alternative answer).

She isn't yelling anything - I think it's just a yell of
surprise/approval ('Eeeeyyyyyeeeeaaaaahh!') after her friend has just
revealed she is pregnant ('Tin roof, rusted' being slang for being
pregnant!). I can expand on this slang theory if you'd like, and
although I think this answers your question, not sure its the answer
you're looking for!

Paultoon - I saw a show a while back where they looked into pop
culture myths, one of them being that "tin roof, rusted" refers to the
girl being pregnant.  The answer straight from the mouth of one of the
B52's was that it did not mean that.

So 'Tin roof. Rusted!' meaning pregnant is another rock'n'roll myth!
Still, I gave the tune another listen, and it is definately just a
yell/scream, and not any word. What do you think Markabe?
