"Best Friends Pet Care Inc. has announced plans to open a
state-of-the-art pet care center in White Plains, New York later this
year, bringing to 40 the total number of Best Friends facilities in
the U.S.
The 21,000-square-foot facility will offer high quality dog and cat
boarding and daycare, grooming services, dog training, a specialty pet
retail boutique and an on-site veterinary clinic. The facility, which
is expected to open in December, will be located at One Brockway
Place. Renovations to the facility are expected to begin this month.
'This will be no ordinary boarding kennel,' says Dennis Dolan,
President and CEO of Best Friends Pet Care, Inc. 'Our goal is to bring
dog and cat lovers in Westchester County a clean, multi-service pet
facility that provides the very highest quality care for pets. Our new
White Plains Pet center will be designed to offer pets a safe
environment with all of the amenities - from first rate lobby to
air-conditioned suites to a full-service pet grooming salon.'
Features of the Best Friends White Plains Pet center will include:
- Doggy Village, with 194 deluxe two-room suites and 7 Vacation Villas for dogs;
- Kitty City, with 36 multi-story cat condos;
- a full-service grooming salon, with a separate bathing room and four
stations for haircuts and styling;
- a multi-purpose room for doggy daycare and training programs;
- an on-site veterinary clinic to provide health care services; and
- a retail boutique offering top-quality pet treats, toys and accessories."
