This may help, it's a bit heavy for me.

19. What is UAProf?
User Agent Profile (UAProf) contains capability information about the
client device. The UAProf file is stored in a repository server and a
URL pointing to the file is sent in the HTTP header from the mobile
device to the server when requesting content. Using UAProf
information, the content server can deliver content most suited to the
capabilities of the device.

Nokia recommends that developers use UAProf to customize their
services for Nokia devices. Developers can either use the UAProf
architecture to do this or manually pull the information out of the
UAProf files, create their own database from this, and use the user
agent header to display the correct content. The list of available
UAProf files for Nokia phones can be found at
<http://nds.nokia.com/uaprof/uaprof_list.txt> and UAProf files can be
accessed at http://nds1.nds.nokia.com/uaprof/<filename_here>. For
further information about UAProf, see the document Introduction to
User Agent Profile at www.forum.nokia.com/documents.

kind regards

Ross
