I would like to find the bibliography of the french writter Imbar,
Jean-Gérard, and his books, specially the ones with the character
"proteo" (I believe they are 3) and an encyclopedia (of about 20
books) with the same character, if possible in spanish or english (I
don't understand french), and I would really like to know where to buy
all his books (within USA if possible).

Try doing a search for IMBAR at www.abebooks.com

Abebooks is a network of used bookstores in the US and abroad. 

I found 17 titles for this author, but most were in french
