Hi,
I would like to know the names, contact details and if possible CVs of
software companies/developers and web designers responsible for
developing the prepay online payment processing system for Splash
Plastic in the UK (www.splashplastic.com)(renamed Prepay
Technologies).

Clarification of Question by kyu91-ga on 23 Jul 2004 09:28 PDT
hi tinx78!

Thanks for your comments on the two partnering companies. You were
right; omegalogic and alphyra provides the link between offline
retailers and Prepay for loading of cash into cardholder's accounts.
But they form only one part of the whole system.

But what I should have clarified in the question was:
1. I wanted to know the software developers that developed the online
payment processing system, such as the authentication, verification
and transaction processing system (or codes) when cardholders buy from
online retailers, e.g. the payment gateway, the codes inserted into
merchant's site in Java, Perl etc.
2. And if possible, the people involved in integrating the whole system together.

Hope that clarifies the question. Thanks for your input anyway. I had
thought this question would never have been answered becuase of the
specific nature.

Kind regards,
kyu91

Hi kyu91

From the link below,
http://www.prepaytec.com/partners/

It seems there're two company that Prepay technologies used for their system.
Here it is:

1. Alphyra (http://www.alphyra.co.uk/) develop and deliver electronic
transaction products, systems and solutions across multiple industry
sectors. In the UK Alphyra's payment network, operating under the
PAYzoneŽ brand, ensures our Splash Plastic cardholders can load value
onto their prepay debit card at a large network of top up
environments.

2. Omega Logic (http://www.omegalogic.co.uk/information/company.htm)
manages and provides expert software solutions that integrate
retailers' systems to deliver the ability to sell a range of virtual
products, such as Splash Plastic top ups and electronic pre-paid
mobile phone airtime. The top-up service operates between retailers
host or till systems and the networks. Our Splash Plastic cardholders
load their cards with value in a retailer connected to Omega Logic,
which they can then use to buy goods online.

Well, it's looks like Alphyra is the one they use for online version
because on Omega Logic website there's no information for top up using
web :)

You can contact Alphyra using this link

And you can see the case study here
http://www.alphyra.co.uk/templates/merchant_case_studies.php?node_id=682

Hope this can help.
If you need to clarify anything just send me the request for clarification

Thank you.
