I would like to receive ratings and information on desktop computers
in the $1200.00 - $1800.00 range. I am looking to find a quality brand
name(Dell, Gateway,Micron,etc.)laptop computer for my daughter for

Another great place to comparison shop for laptops is PCWorld.com. 
Their "Price Grabber" chart lists notebooks by popularity, and
includes pricing and consumer reviews.  It also features filters along
the left sidebar, to let you refine your results.  Simply use the
drop-downs to input your specific criteria, and see only the kinds of
systems you're interested in:
