jaerha: Epoxy adhesives are resistant to everyday substances. If you
use epoxy adhesives for repairs that will not come in contact with
food directly, such as attaching a handle, there is no problem. Using
it to mend a break in a vessel which holds food is not advisable, even
though the risk is very small. Usually the best solution is to replace
the broken item. Why? Most amateur repairs fail eventually.
