leei.exe and LEEI.EXE-356615E5.pf isntalled themselves yesterday 7/19
while i was online. leei does not appear on the program uninstall list
and i cannot delete the files. I became aware of the program when an
error message appeared saying the program needed to close. I don't
remember what i was doing on the computer when the error message
appeared. Zone Alarm shows repeated attempts for leei to send an
outgoing message.

You can use ZoneAlarm's online security scanner to check for
tracking cookies, per boyo62-ga's suggestion, but that won't
remove this program from your system:

Since a Google search turned up no results, I suspect this
program may be too new for AdAware or Spybot Search & Destroy
to remove.

I would suggest locating the files and booting into safe
mode to remove them. Safe mode prevents your regular startup
items from loading. Then remove any entry in your startup
files referring to leei.exe.

If you need specific directions to accomplish these things,
and will accept them as the answer, let me know, and I'll
post an official answer with precise directions.

What operating system are you using? Windows XP?

Both comments did the trick. Thank you. I found a bunch of other junk
in the Zone Alarm Pro scan and I used safe mode to remove leei. If
this is a new bug and i can help report it let me know. I feel i
should have paid for your comments. They were both effective. cls

I don't know whether this works with the free version of ZoneAlarm, but
it's very effective with ZoneAlarm Pro.Go to "Privacy" and choose
Clear Tracking Cookies and then Scan now. You have to be on-line for
this, as ZoneAlarm performs the scanning at a central location. When
the scan has been performed you will be shown a list of the spyware
detected, you can then break the internet connection and follow the
ZoneAlarm instructions to eliminate the spyware. You can also try
AdAware but in my experience ZoneAlarm is the most effective.
