I need to find the referral fees that banks pay out to private parties
who sign up new customers to credit card accounts. I believe this is
called new account origination. This would be the amount, for
example, that a bank such as Bank One would pay a referral company per
new customer signed up. An example of a referral company would be a
debt consolidation service who helped get an individual out of debt,
and now that the individual is in better credit standing, the service
turns the individual toward new credit card options. This is where a
bank would offer referral fees for landing new customers. I need to
know what this dollar amount is, for the following companies.
Capital One
Chase
MBNA
Providian
Bank One
Citibank
Bank of America
Wells Fargo
Fleet
Gold Banc

Thank you.
