Hello. According to a Portland Tribune article, she resigned because the station wanted her to work longer hours with a smaller staff. She has three children and wanted to spend more time with them. "At this time in my life, with three kids, I don?t need to be chasing every ambulance and be available for every show," said Emry, who is married and the mother of 10-year-old twin boys and a 14-year-old daughter."People are forced to work a ton with a smaller staff."
