I am a web designer and programmer looking to move from Windows to Linux OS. I am looking for an online Linux primer/ tutorial (or multiple) that covers the basics of the OS. Ideally this guide would include at least basic commands, discussion of the Linux filesystem (standard directories), and information about users and groups. I already have extensive experience with computers and programming (perl, php, python), so the content should not be too slow. One last thing, I'm hoping to print out this material and read it on paper, so sites with a 'print version' or few graphics would be best. Thanks, Patrick |
