Photographer seeks third party to develop an ecommerce site to sell
photos (prints *and* digital files) with flexibility to add future
products. I'm seeking referrals to reputable, established ecommerce
developers that can meet my specific needs, which are detailed below.
There are thousands of vendors in this space; I'm asking for help in
narrowing the field to only those companies that are the best match
for my specific needs. NOTE: I place a premium on utterly clean,
contemporary and ultra-professional site design. There are three parts
to my question:

(1) Provide a list (appx. 5?) of leading, highly-regarded ecommerce
solution providers that exclusively create small business
sites/storefronts.  IMPORTANT: They should be selling a tried-and-true
*system* or *package* or *turnkey solution* with features that can be
customized for my needs. One example is monstercommerce.com. Note how
this site treats its ecommerce design offerings as product
packages--this is what I seek. Must offer *turnkey solutions* (design,
hosting, payment processing, site promotion, etc.). I'm *not* simply
looking for a web designer who is capable of doing ecommerce. I'm
looking for a company that is exclusively an ecommerce developer with
a great sample portfolio of work for small businesses. I don't want a
list of 20 companies. I seek a narrow, targeted and well-informed list
of the top, most reputable, most established, most professional
options that offer *packaged and turnkey* ecommerce solutions. I
should be able to get a great feel for their packages and pricing just
from looking at the turnkey solutions on their site. Appx. five urls
would be appropriate. Help me identify the cream of the crop.

(2) Provide at least one link to a review or other informed commentary
on the strengths/weaknesses of each company you select for the list.
Please avoid ratings from sites with names like
"www.100-top-ecommerce-providers.com" and similar portals. I need
quality review articles, comparisons or feedback from industry pubs
and experts. Of course, they should be current (within past 18 months
or so).

(3) Further scrutinize the top companies you've included in your list
and make a recommendation to me on which one(s) are the best match for
the following three goals:

(A) I want to sell my photographic prints (which I print in my studio
and mail out) and *also* electronic files of my images via secure and
automated download. Which developers can offer me both capabilities?

(B) I'd like the site/shopping cart software to have the potential to
automatically calculate tax by the COUNTY (not country) in which
customers live. I also want to accept international payments. Which
can do this?

(C) I'd like to be able to update the site by myself using a web-based
interface or via ftp and a program like Dreamweaver/GoLive. I would be
adding new images for sale, adjusting prices, etc. I am skilled in
creating graphics for the web using Photoshop.
