Question ID: 377291
What percentage of audience members at Las Vegas shows purchased their
tickets through a ticket broker (i.e., through the secondary market,
oftentimes above face value)? The ticket broker could be on or
off-line, or even a hotel concierge. Essentially, I'm looking at
estimating the professional resale market for tickets in Las Vegas.
(FYI: Comparable numbers for Broadway Theater in NYC shows that 3.6%
of all show goers bought tickets via a broker or concierge, accordign
to the League of American Theaters and Producers).
