Hi, Desales...
I'm assuming that your request for me stems from having read my answer
on the subject of the Halifax Explosion. At that time, I did search
exhaustively through all available online sources; the best
information I could find at that time is encapsulated within that
answer.
As far as offline sources, there are a few which you might pursue.
The National Archives of Canada have a variety of materials, as does
the provincial counterpart in Nova Scotia. The Maritime Museum of the
Atlantic has a collection, as does the provincial museum. The public
library would have a number of books published locally, containing
personal reminiscences of the events of those days; and finally the
local newspapers would have an archive (probably on microfilm or
microfiche) which might be made available for searching, if you
applied to them in advance.
If you are not physically located within Nova Scotia (or Ottawa), let
me know: I may be able to locate some source materials which could be
copied/mailed/e-mailed for a small fee.
I have significant demands on my time at present (two jobs, wife,
kids, studying for journeyman exams) so I cannot reliably offer a
quick answer. If you do wish for me to proceed, on that
understanding, I will be happy to devote some portion of my free time
to doing so.
