I have received letter with Post Office stamp- Upstate P&D(could be
O)C 2938296. It is postmarked Greeting From Far Far Away(Shrek).

Where,(city and state)zip code if possible, was it mailed from?

The "Far Far Away"/Shrek thing is simply a "novelty" cancellation that
the US Postal Service has been using. It's not specific to the
location where the item was mailed.

Would it be possible for you to scan the "Upstate P&D(O)C 2938296" and
put it online somewhere for us to see? If not, could you describe it
a little more?

Are the words "Upstate P&DC" just like that (including the ampersand '&')?

Is the number 2938296 around a circle?

I can not scan it in.

The words "UPSTATE P&DC and the numbers 2938296 are just like
written. They are also inside a circle. Written around the inside edge
of the circle, left to top to right. Also in the center of the circle
is
                                  PM
                                19'JUL
                                 2004

The D in P&DC could possibly be a O. It's hard to tell

May I ask:

Are the numbers "2938296" part of a pre-cut stamp, or are they clearly
unique to this particular piece of mail? Also, what area do you live
in? For the piece to have arrived as quickly as it did, you can
basically narrow down where it might have come from.
